Daniel Esquivel Garcia

Hi, I'm a developer who loves making video games!

Games

Spooky Loop GTKM

I created a horror game in Unity in just 72 hours. The theme was Loop, so I made an experience inspired by Exit 8. The player is trapped in a seemingly endless hallway and must identify anomalies in order to progress. The game received a good score in the jam.

Escape from 51

This game was inspired by Subway Surfers. It features an endless pathway where you can collect coins and aim for your highest score. The score is synchronized with an online leaderboard through a PHP endpoint, which handles HTTP requests to update the database with the player’s results

Game Designe Course

Over the past year, I completed a one-year master’s program focused on Game Development, where I learned about Game Engines, Programming Patterns, and worked with tools like Godot, Unity, and Unreal Engine.

Hawara Sevilla Jam

We were a team of five at Sevilla’s Summer Jam, where we developed a 2D platformer in Unreal Engine in just 72 hours. The theme was Temporality, and our game revolves around a player trapped inside an hourglass. By flipping the sand clock, the player can manipulate time in order to escape.

About Me

Daniel
Developer

I have both professional and academic experience in providing efficient and functional solutions. I focus on teamwork, contributing with motivation, effort, and organization

I enjoy facing new technical challenges and developing projects that allow me to improve my programming skills. I always strive to write clean code, maintain best practices, and keep learning.

Over the years, I’ve developed interet in yoga, which was initially introduced to me by a family member. This holistic practice not only nurtures the body but also provides a sense of balance for the mind. In my pursuit of yoga, I’ve had the privilege of learning from several experienced teachers and have undertaken extensive personal research.
